Many Danes are not interested in the municipal election. At last municipal election, voter turnout was 67%, compared to 84% at the last parliamentary election. In some municipalities, it was as low as about 55%.

The reason many are uninterested and choose not to vote is because they don’t know what we are voting on – such as elderly care, schools, daycare institutions, and more.

But we’re not indifferent when it really comes down to it. We just need to be reminded of that. In a series of films, we show the absurdity of what people apparently don’t care about if they don’t care about the municipal election.
